I play back video using windows media player and it shows that it uses about 11mb of space for a 30 second video, is there a way to decrease the storage space used?
is there a way to goth new mounts to the cam? mine sucked and god broken the first da… so i need now (better if possible) mounts. help
i got mine today, picture quality isnt bad but the mounts are terrible. I clicked the cam in once and when i pulled it out it broke.. so the mounts are useless.

@johan340 I’ve never been able to tell but you should charge it for around 2-3 hours from a dead state.
Do you know how one see when the battery is fully charged? There is nothing in the manual from what I can see and the seller haven’t answered my mail.

@FranksTechHelp All cool worked on Mac thanks. i am more am having trouble working out the translation to english side and how the hell you work out the modes, including setting the date and time. Did you get work it out
@theaussiegeek I will make a video if really need it but all you have to do is plug it into your Mac and then drag and drop the files. Let me know though and I will make a video.

I have never owned a digital camera of any kind so pls bare with me. I got my 808 keychain cam and knew it didn’t come with a memory disk . The instructions that came in Chinese and Eglish both didn’t make sense to me- question- once I insert an sd card where do I go from there? Do I plug it into my computer and then somehow I’ll be prompted for time,date,ect. When I finally do figre how to record do I just USB it into my system and then presto? I simply didnt understand instructions.
i just got mine to power up. its not easy. try resetting it but it worked wen i plugged in usb then wen led came on i unplugged it and it now works but i just need 2 know how 2 change date time on pics. but thew video quality and camera are very good which is suprizing. im gunna use it 4 all my rc stuff. helicopter first bcoz thats all what works lol.
I’ve had mine for about 12 months now, it has only locked up twice, I left it alone till the battery ran out completely and then, I connected the usb up to re-charge it, works fine if that ever happens again, at least I know what to do.
The only thing I hate with it, is the date and time, which many will agree, is a bastard to change, every device of the same model is different of resetting it and I still haven’t got anywhere.
By the way, I got this item on ebay uk for £6 from hong kong……

what if when charging it the light is just flashing and when i unplug it i cant get it to come on help?
Errr – excuse me but didn’t your title say about changin the Date/Time stamp on the 808? Can you please post something about how to do this. The little leaflet which came with the camera explains a bit, but I couldn’t get it to change. Cheers.!
I have that 2nd camera that you have. It stills freezes as what happens to the first one. It stays on and off when the battery depletes, when i charge it on its usb port, when i remove it, it stays on forever!

Miine had the same issue, it would freeze with the light on after being charged, so the firsttime that happened i just left it to run out, then i worked, s i charged it again for an hour, came back and the light stayed on, so i was waiting for hours for the batterey to die out again, and i was looking all over the nternet, then while watching this video, u reminded me of the reset button, i tried it and mine works! Thank You so Much!

@zandamandag Plug the camera into the rear USB port of your computer, it has more power for charging, also try a new cable, the one that comes with it is not very good.

why when i turn off the camera then i connect it to the usb and un plug it it is not turning on??
@x20ax29a If you have other info on the card then that could be the problem, they don’t play nice with other data.

My card works though, I use it for my cell and i got some other stuff on it. I will move it out and format it and see if it works.

@intercoolervr4 If you are using USB from computer to charge then the light may not turn off when charged, mine acts same way. But if i use USB wall charger the light goes off on wall charger unit when charged. It is normal I think for charging on computer for light not to turn off.
I have 1 unit this spy cam.I think i have a problem with this spy cam battery.When i charging battery, after a few hours..The yellow light still flashing.
It should be automatic light off when battery full charging..
